1/4" Hose Barb Diaphragm Check Valve, Fluorosilicone Diaphragm with Orifice, Natural Kynar® Body

A highly reliable, normally open diaphragm check valve that can be installed in any position. This allows the greatest flexibility when you need backflow protection for a vacuum, gas or liquid system.

The free-floating diaphragm reacts to the slightest difference in pressure across the valve giving it a very rapid response time between free-flow and restricted reverse conditions.

High quality, automotive grade OEM diaphragm check valves.

This is a restricted backflow diaphragm check valve. When there is a pressure differential across the valve from the inlet to the outlet, flow is allowed in that direction. Under backflow conditions, when there is a pressure differential across the valve from the outlet to the inlet, this check valve also allows restricted reverse flow.

  • Inlet to outlet flow rate: 21.2 CFH (0.4 CFM) minimum at 2.5 psig*
  • Outlet to inlet flow rate: between 3.2 CFH (0.05 CFM) and 8.5 CFH (0.18 CFM) at 2.5 psig*

*CFH is cubic feet per hour and CFM is cubic feet per minute.

Materials:

Kynar® (PVDF) is a mechanically strong, high purity engineering thermoplastic with excellent chemical, abrasion, flame and weather resistance plus it has low gas permeability. PVDF has excellent chemical resistance and is particularly resistant to inorganic and organic acids, hydrocarbons and halogenated solvents. It is highly resistant to wet or dry chlorine, bromine and other halogens, most strong acids, aliphatics, aromatics, alcohols and chlorinated solvents.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) rubber diaphragms have an excellent operating temperature range, including dry-heat resistance. FVMQ rubbers have good chemical resistance to automotive and aerospace oils, fuels and fluids and against a wide range of other chemicals and solvents. FVMQ also has excellent resistance to aging.

We recommend checking chemical compatibility and requesting samples for testing in real operating conditions.
