3/16" Hose Barb Diaphragm Check Valve, Viton™ Diaphragm, Gray & Natural Nylon Body

A highly reliable, normally open diaphragm check valve that can be installed in any position. This allows the greatest flexibility when you need backflow protection for a vacuum, gas or liquid system.

The free-floating diaphragm reacts to the slightest difference in pressure across the valve giving it a very rapid response time between free-flow and no-flow conditions.

• Cracking pressure: 0.5 psig maximum
• Operating temperature range: -40°F to 250°F
• Flow rate: 6.4 CFH (0.1 CFM) air flow at 0.15 psig maximum*
• Maximum operating pressure at the inlet port: 50 psi
• Sealing pressure: 3 psig back pressure required for a tight seal

*CFH is cubic feet per hour and CFM is cubic feet per minute.

Materials:

Nylon 66 is a strong, stiff engineering plastic that provides excellent resistance to chemicals and hydrocarbons. These includes oils, lubricants, gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel.

Viton™ (FKM or FPM) rubber diaphragms have an excellent operating temperature range. FKM is also resistant to a wide range of chemicals including ozone, mineral oils and greases, aliphatic (non-aromatic), aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, gasoline, diesel fuels, silicone oils and grease. It also has excellent resistance to oxidation aging.
