A highly reliable, normally open diaphragm check valve that can be installed in any position. This allows the greatest flexibility when you need backflow protection for a vacuum, gas or liquid system.

The free-floating diaphragm reacts to the slightest difference in pressure across the valve giving it a very rapid response time between free-flow and no-flow conditions.

• Cracking pressure: 1.5 psig maximum
• Operating temperature range: -20°F to 250°F
• Sealing pressure: 5 psig back pressure required for a tight seal

Materials:

Kynar® (PVDF) is a mechanically strong, high purity engineering thermoplastic with excellent chemical, abrasion, flame and weather resistance plus it has low gas permeability. PVDF has excellent chemical resistance and is particularly resistant to inorganic and organic acids, hydrocarbons and halogenated solvents. It is highly resistant to wet or dry chlorine, bromine and other halogens, most strong acids, aliphatics, aromatics, alcohols and chlorinated solvents.

EPDM rubber diaphragms have an excellent operating temperature range. They also have excellent resistance to water and steam, alkali, mild acidic and oxygenated solvents, ozone, brake fluids and phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids. EPDM has an excellent resistance to aging.
