IS Med Specialties 

In order to create both a market and product specialization, Industrial Specialties Mfg. has created a new subsidiary, IS Med Specialties.

This organizational structure will allow us to focus specifically on the medical OEM marketplace with a new line of products. We will be operating this organization within our existing facility, and our same phone number and email addresses will be used to simplify the transition.

IS Med Specialties is marketing and distributing a new line of disposable medical filtration products manufactured by ITW Filtertek. These products include adult and pediatric I.V. filters, vent caps, pre-bypass filters, hydrophobic filters for various venting applications (luer lock or tubing ports) and check valves designed specifically for medical application. As a component of this expansion, ISM has constructed an ISO Class 8 (also known as a Class 100,000) clean room in our plant. We will be repackaging all of the medical filtration products in quantities that provide convenience to our customers.
